Sarasota-Based Laser Rite Holds Special Event to Announce New Name and Branding
Laser Rite Document Solutions, a premier source for copy, print and document management technology, unveiled its new name – Rite Technology – and brand identity at an exclusive, invite-only event. The name change reflects the company’s continued focus on the expansion of IT managed services, and the firm’s expertise in driving the innovations needed to provide its clients with the best-in-class systems and support.
More than 70 clients, partners and other special guests from throughout the state were in attendance at the company’s Sarasota headquarters on Thursday, September 29th to experience the reveal of the new name, logo, executive restructuring and plans for the future direction of the technology-focused firm. Attendees from the Tampa area were treated to limousine transportation to and from the event. Rite Technology also donated $10,000 to several local non-profit organizations as a way of thanks to the community. The organizations included Teen Court of Sarasota, Mental Health Community Center and several others.
“Our clients are everything to us, so it was natural to invite them to be a part of this exciting transition concerning the future of our company and what’s in store for them,” said David Polimeni, CEO of Rite Technology. “As a local company with its roots in technology and creative business solutions, we have always taken great pride in bringing the knowledge and capabilities of a large corporation with the personal service and support of a boutique firm. Our strength is truly our people and the ability to respond quickly and efficiently. As we forge this new path in the direction of breakthrough technology products and IT management, we will continue our renowned dedication to innovation and exceptional customer care.”
The announcement complements a number of recent changes to the company. Teresa Esper, Founder and Owner of Laser Rite, retired in 2015 following a partnership with David Polimeni, who assumed leadership as CEO with responsibility of daily operations and expansion. Since this time, Polimeni resourced toner remanufacturing to a trusted partner, resulting in a significant improvement in product quality. The company also opened a Tampa Bay regional office in November of 2015, which has accounted for a 30% increase in overall revenues.
Customers of Rite Technology will continue to benefit from the legacy products and services engaged by Laser Rite, while also gaining access exceptional technology services designed to streamline operations. Accompanying the company’s rebranding will include the closure of its printer cartridge division and the launching of a Tampa office focused on IT management. The new name is effective immediately and will be implemented across the company's full scope of product and services. Grapevine Communications was chosen as the Agency of Record for the brand conversion.
