Tampa’s newest assisted living community, Autumn of Westchase, is set to break ground in the second quarter of 2016 with an expected completion in 2017. Autumn estimates the cost of the project at over $24 million.

“Our team takes great pride in creating a positive, healthy environment for our residents, with compassionate care and a host of fun activities,” said Jim Soper, CEO of Autumn Senior Living. “We’re excited to bring the Autumn lifestyle to Westchase and provide seniors and their families with the support they need and deserve.”

Carl Lindell, CEO of Lindell Investments said, “We are thrilled to join the Autumn team and to bring Tampa’s newest and best assisted living community to Westchase.”

Autumn of Westchase is designed in cooperation with the USF Health Byrd Alzheimer’s Institute, a leader in dementia research and care. The three-story campus will include two restaurants with the latest in Mediterranean and gluten-free cuisine choices, as well as everyone’s old favorites. Beyond 122 spacious apartments, Autumn will offer residents all the assistance with the activities of daily living, and a full range of physical and occupational therapy services.

Autumn of Westchase will create more than 60 professional jobs, including medical care providers, nurses, administrators and physical therapy specialists. The project will also provide many jobs in the local construction industry, from groundbreaking to grand opening.
