At Grapevine, some of the most meaningful partnerships we have are projects in collaboration with nonprofit organizations and simply standing side-by-side with people in our community. For us, it’s not just about business – these are causes we, as an agency, show up for and believe in.

We volunteer alongside their teams. We experience their educational programs firsthand. We stand next to the stage, walk the routes and witness the impact they create among real people, families and neighborhoods across the region and nationwide. That’s a powerful proximity, changing how we approach problems with fresh ideas, how we interact with clients, the way we tell stories and why it all matters.

And that’s what Grapevine – All In is really all about. The crucial work our clients do shapes the work we deliver, and fulfilling initiatives, events and volunteer opportunities help us grow and guides who we are. But that’s enough leadup – it’s time to hear stories, straight from our team, on how they’ve been moved while out in the field, alongside our clients, in the community and how these valuable moments left a lasting impression.

Our Client, Easterseals Southwest Florida

John Butzko, Partner/Executive Creative Director: “I’ve volunteered several times at Easterseals Southwest Florida, with both the children in Lily Preschool and the adults in the enrichment program. Seeing the smiles and the happiness stays with you. It builds a deep appreciation for the patience, care and consistency behind the work. They are truly doing great things there, and I’m proud to play a part by helping raise awareness and sharing what they do with others.

Those experiences changed how I approach the work we do for Easterseals. There is more heart and intention behind my messaging, because that is how this organization shows up every day. It reinforces my responsibility to tell these stories with honesty, care and conviction, so people understand the impact.”

‘Alliance Gives Back’ – Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance

Nicole Miller, Social Media & Online Content Contributor: “I love to be part of the Alliance Gives Back because it’s an opportunity to not only do something nice for organizations in our own community but it’s a chance to do it together as a team alongside friends I have made in the Alliance. Every time we volunteer we get to visit a different organization, so it has educated me on nonprofits I don’t always get to work with on a daily basis. It’s also fun to do different types of volunteer work. For example, I spent years working in costuming at Walt Disney World, so it was cool to volunteer in the costume shop at The Sarasota Players a few years back and show the team what I used to do! I also love the kids at Easterseals Southwest Florida and volunteering there just feels like a day of fun!

For me, participating with Grapevine in the Alliance Gives Back really gives me an up-close look at how these organizations are lending a hand to other people along the Suncoast. It just makes you feel good to know that you are helping these organizations improve their operations to continue doing what they do best.”

Tammy Dumer, Director of Finance: “The only event I participated in was the Alliance Gives Back, Cat Depot event, with Meredith and Joan. I felt sad for all the unadopted animals. We actually made treat-toys with food and treat sticks for all the dogs. I love dogs, and if I could adopt all the dogs, I would.”

‘Making Strides Against Breast Cancer’ Event at Nathan Benderson Park

Christina Hardy, Executive Assistant of Sales and Operations: “This experience made me feel very moved and inspired. Being surrounded by survivors and thrivers, and watching them show so much strength and resilience, was incredibly touching. It really reminded me of the unity that exists within our community. I left the walk feeling grateful, motivated, and deeply connected to the mission behind it.

This experience reaffirmed for me how important community-driven work truly is. Seeing how many people came out for the walk showed the powerful impact our community can have when we come together. The work we do affects real people, and witnessing the support and compassion in action was really beautiful. Moving forward, this experience has inspired me to seek out more opportunities like this – ones that raise awareness and inspire others with intention, empathy, and purpose.”

Our Client, the Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation

Gabriele Harris, Director of Strategic Marketing: “I attended the Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation’s Artist in Residence program featuring Paige Hernandez. While we were there to film, watching her performance and her genuine connection with the audience, especially the students, was incredibly impactful. It reinforced the importance of storytelling that is authentic, community-centered, and designed to create real emotional connection, which continues to shape how we approach our work.”

Halle Hyman, Account Executive: “I have been involved with the Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation for over a year now. They are a great organization that makes a true impact in our community. Working with them shows me how powerful bringing a group of people that share the same goal can be. It is empowering and I am happy that Grapevine gets to be part of it.”

Our Client, Wine, Women & Shoes

Tricia Robustelli, Account Executive/Content Creator: “Working with Wine Women & Shoes and seeing firsthand the impact Forty Carrots has on the community is incredibly special to us. After months of planning, collaborating, and pouring our energy into the event, being there on the day and watching it all come to life is an unforgettable experience. Seeing the generosity, the support, and the incredible funds raised year after year is a powerful reminder of why this work matters so much.”
